Sharptone Records are going from strength to strength and Pittsburgh’s “156/Silence” are a band that perfectly fits the roster…
They are set to release their new album “People Watching” September 14th and have recently dropped a new single in “Better Written Villain”!
Take a Look/Listen here:
Discussing the new song, the band says:
“Better Written Villain is a song that underwent heavy rewrites in the studio but we’re incredibly happy with how it turned out. This song takes you on a journey through almost every element of our sound and I believe it’s a good representation of what you can expect from the album as a whole. The chorus as well as the ending went through a bunch of revisions because Jimmy and I (this is jack) couldn’t agree on a melody until the very last second. But I think that’s what makes it one of if not my favorite songs on the record. A song that thematically was inspired by from George Orwell’s ‘Animal Farm’. Specifically Napoleon.”
