Album of the Month – California Bear Gang: Ursus Arctos Californicus
It wasn’t until late 2015 that we discovered the California Bear Gang and really that is a major “shame on us” moment, the CBG are right up there with some of the best in our scene today! Big props has to go out to Tanqueray Locc for linking us in with them, because since then their album “Ursus Arctos Californicus” has been stuck on repeat. It’s even been nominated and polled highly in our annual “Album of the Year” (results released on our countdown show soon) plus features big name guests in E-40, Devin The Dude, Kxng Crooked, Madesics Muzic labelmate Dalima and more. Yep the album is straight fire!
“Ursus Arctos Californicus” was actually released back in June (23rd) but is still new to us and therefore has earned our Album of the Month for January!

The California Bear Gang consisting of Rob Roy, MC2 and Masyah are actually fresh off their first Australian tour and even took time out to visit The Underground studios to record an exclusive interview.
