Alex Winter Interview
2020 will certainly be a year not to be forgotten and for all the wrong reasons, the worldwide pandemic has been nothing short of horrible. So many lives lost, jobs lost, businesses closed, cancelled events and the list goes on. The entertainment industry has probably been hit the hardest (work wise) with cancelled shows, artists not being able to tour and just the uncertainty of it all. When it’s all said and done 2020 is a year we would rather forget and can only hope the future is much brighter and we get back to some sort of normality…
Many movies have been postponed and pushed back to 2021 releases, there has been one shining light though and that is the third movie in the Bill and Ted franchise “Face the Music”. A feel good comedy Sci Fi that sees Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves reprise their roles as the loveable William “Bill” S. Preston Esq (Winter) and Ted “Theodore” Logan (Reeves) 29 years after they last appeared together in 1991’s “Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey”.
Growing up as a teenager in the 90’s it’s safe to say Bill and Ted were a massive influence and go to movies on any occasion, with the films still holding their own to this day. The plot sees Bill and Ted now middle aged Dad’s still trying to write that one hit “Wyld Stallions” song that will save humanity and unite the world. Simple right?
Take a look at the trailer here:
We were lucky enough to catch up with Alex Winter to discuss the new movie, a very much once in a lifetime opportunity. So what do you discuss with a guy like Alex Winter? A dude that you have looked up to since you were in Primary school! Play it safe and just discuss the movie? Nah! Pops and Megadeth of course, ha-ha. Don’t despair, we do cover a lot on the movie! This one left us a little shocked though, why? Listen to the interview first and see if you can pick it!

We found ourselves questioning our Bill and Ted knowledge after the Megadeth bombshell Alex had dropped on us. Do we question the man? Of course not! Turns out we were right (for a change), relive the infamous scene right here (Starts 1.05):
Bill and Ted 3 “Face the Music” is out now and is more relevant in 2020 than ever, this is the movie that the world needs to see. Good wholesome family friendly fun that will please existing fans of the franchise and new fans alike! Packed with returning characters, fantastic new characters, sensational cameos, a great storyline and a heart-warming message. Not only is this a must see but the best movie that has been released this year, we can only hope for another sequel!
Remember “Be excellent to each other, Party on Dudes and watch Bill and Ted 3”!!!
