Alpha Wolf “Fault” review
Band: Alpha Wolf
Album: Fault (EP)
Released April 19th 2019
Reviewer: Jase L Herbert
Music is like a reading a novel from start to finish. Each track is a different chapter with its own unique story, these vary from joy to pain and anguish. Think of the songwriters as the Author putting pen to paper to take the listener on a journey full of twists and turns along the way.
This is exactly what you get with Alpha Wolf’s brand new EP “Fault”. Formed in Tasmania in 2013 before moving to Melbourne and releasing their debut album “Mono” in 2017. Alpha Wolf bring the heaviness and energy on “Fault” with each of the six tracks making the listener want to bang their head and pump their fists in the air.
Choosing just a single standout track is difficult, as each one is a masterpiece in itself, a killer combination of crunching guitars, groove driven bass and drums, all topped off with powerful vocals.
“Fault” is out now via Greyscale Records. do yourself a favour and pick up a copy today. you will not be disappointed.
