Deadlights “Bathed in Venom” review
Band: Deadlights
Single: Bathed in Venom
Released April 17th 2019

There’s something about the purity of Hardcore music that speaks to us on a spiritual level,
tapping into and releasing a pent up rage that is buried within us all. Whether we want to admit it or not, Hardcore Metal is as much a part of us as we are a part of it!
A great example of this is Deadlights new single “Bathed in Venom”. Formed in 2011 this Hardcore quartet have been creating their own unique sound ever since. Releasing their debut album Mesma in 2017, now the band are back with a new single “Bathed In Venom”! It’s safe to say this one is going to make a huge impact.
“Bathed in Venom” starts off with melodic vocals over single noted guitar through out the opening verse before exploding in the first chorus, with the intensity never dropping for the remainder of the track. Dylan Davidson, Tynan Reibelt, Josh O’Callaghan and Sean Prior have created a Rage Against the Machine meets Hatebreed style masterpiece!
