King 810 – Memoirs of a Murderer
Flint Michigan is known as one of America’s most violent cities. Day to day life is a battle for survival resulting in one of the highest rates of homicide in any US city.
Through the darkness comes a beacon of light with a sound so furious that you have to pay attention. Ladies and gentlemen let me introduce you to “King 810”. At the helm of this Michigan Juggernaut is vocalist “David Gunn” whose dry vocals paint a picture of what day to day struggles in Flint can be. A good example for this is the video for their track “Killem All” which uses camera footage of violent muggings and actual shootings. Just like the video, this album is nothing short of brutal in every aspect. Featuring killer riffs that make you want to raise your fist in the air and bang your head like there is no tomorrow! Gunn’s powerfully driven lyrics leave the listener saying “Holy sh*t!”
