The Underground metal scene is alive and well with many new artists leaving their mark. One band in particular is Newcastle based hardcore act “Liberties” with the release of their debut EP “Broken”…

Forming in 2016 the band quickly released their three track demo “Day To Day” which quickly gained national radio attention. The band then released their debut single “Till It’s Over” in 2017.

From start to finish “Broken” is non stop headbanging, pit opening metal. With each track containing Amy’s amazing guitar riffs, powerful guttural vocals of Ciaran, and the dynamic bass and drums of Brenden and Kieran all mixed together to bring a blend of Pantera meets Hatebreed.

Definite standout tracks on the EP are “Are You Okay?”:

“Broken” is an EP you can easily listen to over and over again, and a definite must have in your collection.
