New Interview: California Bear Gang

One of our biggest regrets of 2015 was missing out on seeing Sacremento’s California Bear Gang on their first ever Australian tour, it was late in the year and we just couldn’t make it happen. Luckily enough for us the CBG were cool enough to roll through our home town to record our first ever in studio interview; we’re located literally in the middle of nowhere!

Hanging out with Rob Roy, Masyah, MC2 and their manager Barrett would go down as one of the most awesome times of the year. A big thank you to them all for making the effort to catch up, now onto the interview! This was most definitely a memorable one as the fellas tell us their highlights and lowlights of being in Australia, including some hilarious Australian accents. We find out what it means to them to be signed to Brotha Lynch Hung’s label “Madesicc Muzicc”, how they scooped up a “Grrrd award”, their latest album “Ursus Arctos Californicus”, filming their video “Roll Up” and we find out what the future holds for 2016…

Since this interview was conducted the CBG have also been nominated for album of the year with “Ursus Arctos Californicus” and UAC was named our album of the month for January. There is certainly no sign of slowing down for the Bear Gang!
