Melbourne metalcore outfit Windwaker have announced their long-awaited HYPERVIOLENCE Australian Tour for February 2025. Joining them across Australia is special guests Thousand Below (USA), Diamond Construct and Headwreck.

The HYPERVIOLENCE Tour, presented by Destroy All Lines and Open Door Management, celebrates the release of the bands mammoth sophomore album, HYPERVIOLENCE, out now via Civilians and Fearless Records. The tour will begin in Brisbane on Thursday January 30 before travelling through Newcastle, Sydney, Albury, Adelaide, Melbourne and will wrap up in Perth on Saturday February 8.

Windwaker found their voice tearing at the seams of their sonic boundaries, refining and finessing their craft into something truly unique. ‘HYPERVIOLENCE’, is the evolution of the group’s fresh and exciting sound, and will be unleashed in its full form on the HYPERVIOLENCE Tour. “We’re so excited to hit the road and finally bring our new album HYPERVIOLENCE to life on stages all across Australia!” says the band. “This record was made to be experienced live, and we’ve gone all in to make sure we deliver on our biggest and best shows yet. We can’t wait to share the stage with some of our favourite acts, we’ve made sure these are shows that you don’t want to miss.”

California post-hardcore group Thousand Below have been making their own waves in Australia since 2022 having previously toured the country supporting shows with Thornhill, Holding Absence and Ocean Sleeper. They cross the ocean next year to join the HYPERVIOLENCE Tour, bringing with them a handful of fresh new tunes to boast along the way. Thousand Below’s vulnerable, ambient, yet ultimately hopeful self-examination of loss, life and healing is an enduring theme resonating in the band’s signature sound.

Leaders in modern nu-metal, Diamond Construct, join the fold equipped with their acclaimed sophomore album Angel Killer Zero‘, out earlier this year via Greyscale Records and Pale Chord. Reaching over a million streams and counting, ‘Angel Killer Zero’ stays true to the bands roots while still pushing forward into new sonic ground. Diamond Construct have cemented their foundations with commitment to dreams of something greater, creating a base of loyal, frothing fans, recognising that there’s no better place for Diamond Construct than on a big stage.

Introducing the chaos every night is Brisbane up and comers Headwreck. Having recently shared their most successful single to date, Buzzsaw, the quartet appeal to fans of Moodring, Linkin Park, Northlane and Make Them Suffer. They’ve collected hundreds of thousands of digital streams, featured on Metal Hammer, ABC Rage, Channel 7 AFL, triple j, Unearthed and more, and have sold out their own headline shows and dominated sets with We Came as Romans, Paledusk, The Story So Far, Thornhill, Invent Animate and more.
